Privacy Policy
We neither sell nor share your personal information with outside companies or third parties. We do encourage you to join our mailing list as our emails provide you with advanced notice of sales, new products and other events. If you wish to be removed from our list, you can choose to unsubscribe at any time and our records will be automatically updated.

Product Care
Please take time to read our recommended guidelines with regards to caring for your Emotional Baggage products. These guidelines can be found in the FAQ menu on the left of your browser.

Emotional Baggage cannot be held responsible for fabric fading or for the transfer of colour to lighter coloured clothing items. If you wish to find out more about our fabrics and leather, please visit our “fabrics” page using the navigation menu on the left of your browser.  For more information on care instructions, please visit our FAQ page.

Emotional Baggage cannot be held responsible for damage to purchased products caused by the use of fabric and leather protectors, dry cleaning, machine washing or damage due to overuse/wear and tear.

Lead Time
For ready-made orders, please allow 10 working days to receive your item.
For custom orders, please allow 4 weeks.

Returns
If you receive an Emotional Baggage product that is flawed in any way (unless it was damaged by the postal service), you may return it for repair within 10 days of receiving it.

If the product does not meet your expectations upon arrival, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for further instructions on the returns process. Items must be returned within 10 days of receiving and must be unused and in the same condition as received. Returns are not available for custom-made items unless faulty.

All shipping charges on returned merchandise are non-refundable. If the return is due to our error, shipping costs related to the return will be covered by Emotional Baggage.

Emotional Baggage will not cover shipping costs or provide cash refunds for “change of mind” returns.

Payment methods
During the ordering process you will have the option of paying for your order using electronic funds transfer (Australian customers only) or by credit card using PayPal.

Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer
When selecting this option, you will be sent an email from Emotional Baggage with our bank account details. You will then need to complete the ordering process by transfering the cost of the order (product plus postage) into our account. Once funds are received, we will acknowledge your payment and proceed with your order.

Credit card payments using PayPal
This is a very secure way to make credit card payments online and it does not require you to create a PayPal account. Please note that pay PayPal transactions are processed immediately. Please visit PayPal at www.paypal.com.au for more information.

Shipping methods
All items posted within Australia are sent using Australia Post’s Registered Post Service. Australia Post will deliver the package to you and will require you to sign for the parcel. If you are not there, a card will be left at the address and you will be required to collect the parcel at your local post office.  The cost of shipping is determined by weight and includes a packaging and handling fee. During the ordering process, the cost of shipping your order within Australia will default to one of four shipping rates:

Rate A (up to 250g) = $9.50
Rate B (251g to 500g) = $10.50
Rate C (501g to 1kg) = $12.50
Rate D (over 1kg) = $14.50

Please note, Emotional Baggage cannot be held responsible for any damage or losses that occur during shipping. If you require extra insurance or prefer for your items to be couriered (metro Melbourne only) then please advise via email prior to ordering.  Default courier rate is $14.50.

Shipping Outside of Australia
We are happy to ship any of our products to destinations outside of Australia. Please contact us prior to placing your order so that we can confirm the exact cost of shipping as this depends on the destination and weight of the package. Payments for such orders will be invoiced separately using PayPal.
